BUT ... I am very impressed with your 'ideas' book - what a terrific record of what you want to make and/or have made. I wish I was so disciplined - I am a very bad artist, but that is no excuse! I think I must follow your example and have a try. The bag is lovely by the way - and charity shop finds are thrilling are they not!katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02825507631732958815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24776294.post-1163477648768984092006-11-14T04:14:00.000+00:002006-11-14T04:14:00.000+00:00Pretty bag, and I cant wait to see the squashy bag...Pretty bag, and I cant wait to see the squashy bag too. I love the Denim cardigan, it looks fantastic, and you will definately have to post with the receiver wearing it to show us all how good it looks being worn. I love the patterns in the book, but I am sure that such a big project is one of those where you need to make a few little projects in between.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02893692345113831018noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24776294.post-1163448222657668322006-11-13T20:03:00.000+00:002006-11-13T20:03:00.000+00:00So pretty, and I love the sketches for your coming...So pretty, and I love the sketches for your coming project.Kathleenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13318089249301364855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24776294.post-1163444814188204582006-11-13T19:06:00.000+00:002006-11-13T19:06:00.000+00:00lovely bag! what a nice sunday you had--i always f...lovely bag! what a nice sunday you had--i always feel relaxing sundays help recharge your batteries, don't you?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24776294.post-1163439185416834812006-11-13T17:33:00.000+00:002006-11-13T17:33:00.000+00:00What a lovely sunday you have, I love it, too, it´...What a lovely sunday you have, I love it, too, it´s the only day in the week where there is no hurry, no cleaning, no duties. And I envy you for still having sunny or warm autumn days, here it is so cold and grey and always raining now.
And I love your bag, the colour combo is fantastic, and the flowers are beautiful, very cute. But when we go to the cottage, we cook up a breakfast feast. Bacon, eggs, home fries, coffee, toast made from homemade bread. Your descriptions made me smile and feel warm all over - growing up, we always had cooked breakfasts on a weekend, and big Sunday roasts (almost always chicken, though - with Yorkshire puds no matter what!), and we had six apple trees in the garden (three cookers and three eaters), so it was apples all year round for us! I remember well my brothers complaining over 'more apples', but I don't remember ever getting sick of them myself... I adore those flowers - and the sketch of the bag-to-come! I look forward to it with great anticipation!Alisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01082684670487000100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24776294.post-1163351204782940802006-11-12T17:06:00.000+00:002006-11-12T17:06:00.000+00:00gorgeous bag :)the flowers look fab, I would never...gorgeous bag :)
the flowers look fab, I would never have thought to do them like thatAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
