Something blue

I am not sure what I was thinking when I picked up this particular colourway. I was in a rush, there were only a few colours to choose between and this seemed better than the others. I went out to buy brown yarn, but I guess blue goes with brown....

Still, I think I like it. Well, in a certain light I like it. I love the pattern and in fact I bought the yarn and took these pictures a week ago and the knitting is almost finished, indeed probably will be finished tonight so I guess if I really do not like the colour then I can always knit another one.
Hmmm, yes, it really is very blue....

blue? yes, it's wonderful glorious blue! If you could see my home---blue everywhere. You can't go wrong with blue! And I agree with Michele, it does go well with brown.

It will be great in the blue! PS,totally off topic, when you knit in the knittery handdyed for Noras sweater did you knit from 2 skeins on alternate rows due to it being hand dyed or just as normal?

It may be blue but it's an absolutely beautiful shade of blue...

DEfinitely very blue - and if you try it and don't like it, you can always overdye it. It would take red/crimson well, I think, to make a very berry-like colourway, which would also work well with brown...

I can picture it with a lovely conker brown (or is that the same as chocolate?) One of the girls at my knitting group is desperate to try this pattern (along with another fifteen! lol) Thanks for the comment on Arisaig - it is so lovely to wear.
