Summer tonic
Today has been grey and wet, oh so very wet. I just discovered an apple tree in trouble, split down the middle, it's boughs to heavy with wet fruit and leaves.
It does not feel so very summery at all. We have been cooped up all day, dogs and children, it feels like much longer than a day.
Perhaps a little pick me up is required. Rum, mint, sugar and freshly squeezed lime.
Ahhhh, sanity restored.
