Tea and Biscuits
Last weekend saw the children answer an emergency call for babysitting. We hopped in the car straight after school and travelled 300 miles or so to baby sit for some seriously good friends. The were due to have their first ever night away, since having children, and the intended baby sitter had done her back in so we offered to step into the breech. The children are age 2 years and 10 months and I have to admit I was a little worried about how I would manage to entertain them but thankfully the four of them pretty much entertained themselves and was really only required to provide meals, change nappies and read stories, quite relaxing really.
Our friends returned on Sunday afternoon and brought me a fantastic bag of good things from Fortnum and Mason to say thank you. Amongst the delicious goodies was this beautiful tin of green tea. So pretty don't you think? I love these colours.
Obviously one must have biscuits to go with tea. Gingernuts today and I was greatly assisted in the kitchen by this little flower child.

I came across you via Nora at Black Dog Knits.
I'm interested in that you say you are a potter.
Me too. Well potter without a studio at the moment.
I'm near Manchester.
Oh and I also knit.
What kind of potting do you do? I throw, or will when I get my home studio going.
Bob along to my site, Celadon Pool two.
Looks like fun!
The tea tin looks lovely - and home made ginger nuts, mmmmm....
Your cardigan is lovely.
