Disconnect

I was without t'internet for days and days. Disconnected from the virtual world.

Unable to look up the weather forecast
every day, on three different sites, until I find the one I like....

No on-line shopping, no impulse book buying. No random checking of trivia.

No blog reading or writing.

All back to normal now, thank heavens.

Torture. And I thought it was just me who did that thing with weather forecasts! Glad to have you reconnected.

hee! I like to be disconnected, but I also like to be very connected. So it does pose a problem at times. And I believe it is essential to check multiple forecasts. :)

Book shopping, oh my, my husband says we should be able to declare Amazon as a dependent on our income taxes.

Good grief - I would be bereft, which I'm a little ashamed of. Glad to have you back.

I just glanced at your profile. It says you are a potter. I'd not noticed that before. Can we see some pots?

My computer is my ‘comfort blanket’…..as soon as it’s not there I get panicky thinking I will never be able to email anyone ever again…….or look anything up ever again…but then again the ironing pile gets lower….

I get cranky if I get disconnected from the internet...! Shameful, I know but sometimes it's a good thing.

Having been computer less quite a lot lately because of traveling, I understand the withdrawal issues. Glad you're back in business.

I appreciated your explanation of how to use the patterns in the sewing books. I went out and purchased Weekend Sewing when you showed your FIRST wrap skirt, but I haven't ventured in to actually making a skirt (or pants) yet.

So glad you're back! I can take a few days, but after that, I need my fix.
