Technical wrestling

Today I have spent rather too long tussling with technology. I have been attempting to set up a Handmade at Poshyarns Facebook page, all this in the same week that I launched myself upon Twitter.

No wonder I feel the urge to lie down in a darkened room.

I sort of wanted to prove that I could do this by myself.

But having spent so long being bamboozled today I realise that this is exactly the sort of thing one keeps a Technical Advisor for, not the only thing of course...

Having finally set up the page I began to investigate how to add a link here on my blog.

But I find myself quite overcome, technically fatigued. I am off to the kitchen, The Technical Advisor will certainly need something sustaining to get him through an evening of advising one so challenged as myself.

So until the Dear Advisor can sort out the appropriate sidebar links just let me tell you that you can read my Tweets over here and follow Handmade at Poshyarns on Facebook . I do hope you can come and say hello, it's all rather baffling and a tad lonely at present.

I think I may be the one and only person not on Facebook and Twitter. I suppose I better start catching up!

Good luck getting the button up. :)

Oh Rebecca, you're not alone, I would be technically challenged too! I'm not on twitter or facebook either. Your facebook page looks good...the link to twitter says that page doesn't exist!

Lucky you having a technical advisor to sort it all out. Like having a magic wand really!

I'm sort of on facebook - but as me not as dottycookie and it all seems a bit like crossing the streams to try to merge the two sides of my life ... as for twitter, I wouldn't know where to start.

I've been over and am a friend now too but like Dottycookie I'm me not skybluepinkish :) I like to keep the vague cloak of anonymity on the blog !

I will certainly pop by Facebook to say hello -I don't really do Twitter though.
My technical adviser is 15 - teenagers seem to know everything;)

When my son left home, I was devastated - no longer could I hand him my latest piece of technology and say 'make it work'!!

I once tried that too but was hopeless at keeping updates going and working it all out!
