Pen to paper

I did not mean to be away so long and since I last wrote in this space I have been bathed in Spring sunshine, pelted with frozen sleet, drenched in the wettest of rain and blown by Suffolk gales.
Today Miss Tilly is home sick, so we took a few minutes to draw those names. I know there are marvelously technical ways of doing this and no doubt this nine year old of mine could show me how. However, being me, I rather like a reason to put pen to paper, so I did it the old fashioned way. I took pleasure in writing the names and took time to re-read each of those precious comments. Oh how you made me smile with your words and thoughts, thank you so much to everyone who left a comment, it was lovely to hear from old friends and to discover some great new blogs too.

But there can be only three.

Bougielyns, a new to me blogger who I am thrilled to discover blogs about her life in the fascinating Czech Republic.

The lovely Ali, of Domesticali, I have been reading Ali's blog for such a long time and count her as one of my virtual friends so I am delighted to be sending her a key fob.

And finally, Nina of the scrumptiously photographed Tabiboo, Nina has been a customer of mine before so I am really pleased to be sending her a little something.
Ladies, can you please email me your addresses and I will send off your key fobs in the next few days.

We've had rotten ear aches here - I think it is all the blasted wind and rain that's done us in plus I had to go rescue two fruit cages today from the allotment that had done a kind of Kansas Wizard of Oz spinning thing across the plot and I ended up getting absolutely drenched - think drowned rat! - fingers crossed they were worth it and I don't end up with flu or some other nasty.
Thank you again - huge big smile -
Nina xxxxxxxx
I smiled as I read your post because I launched in to my latest one along startling similar lines to your describing the weather we've been having PLUS I was also announcing my giveaway winners too.
