A blouse of slightly less agreement

As I mentioned in the post below, the Tiny Tea Leaves is being knitted to match a number of wardrobe items.

This is one of them.

Another blouse, different pattern but same book, the second time I have made this particular blouse. I did not change a thing, well not to my knowledge but given that I do not understand a word of Japanese, who knows?

Once again I used a Liberty Tana Lawn, I love this one with its little blue sprig and my blue loving daughter adores it too. Which almost makes up for the collar, she does not love the collar. Or the sleeves, I'm not sure why she does not love the sleeves. Sigh.

Let us hope that the forthcoming cardigan, with its blouse sleeve hiding capabilities will make up for that.

I think you've been rather fortunate so far - the Lovely Son became a tyrant about clothing at the tender age of three, when he stood resolute in the kitchen on a boiling hot day, refusing to go outside in the hated shorts, the last he was to wear till adulthood, other than for school sports.

A quite biddable child as a rule, but the thought of clothes and shoes shopping with him (now aged 39) still makes me shudder!

Oooh I'd like one of these--as usual! It'll look fab with the Tea Leaves cardigan.

It's beautiful and I love your fabric choice.

Though I'm with you on the not speaking a word of Japanese - you have translated well.

Agreed, it will look wonderful with the cardigan. And what a cute pattern on the blouse.
You've made a beautiful blouse and I'm in complete agreement over the love of Liberty. I've just finished a Japanese tunic in mirabelle - can't stop myself, I'm addicted!
